The poetics of stone
Impact is born from the study of the most precious slates, those in which millenary stratification creates plays of light and shadow on the surface. Each 60x60 slab tells a different geological story: the veins never repeat mechanically, but chase each other like natural signs, giving the floor an authentic soul. The chromatic palette ranges from the light, lunar tones of Moon, through the warm earthiness of Clay, to the decisive grays of Ash and Graphite. A range designed to interact with wood, metal, and glass, naturally fitting into both residential and contract contexts.
Atlas Concorde's production technology enhances the materiality of the surface: high-definition digital printing renders every minimal relief, while the matt finish absorbs light without annoying reflections, enhancing the depth of the design. For outdoor environments or wet areas, the Clay version is available with Grip treatment (R10/B), which ensures anti-slip safety without altering the aesthetic result. The 60x60 format, thanks to the rectification of the edges, allows for minimal joints of 2 mm, enhancing visual continuity and reducing dirt accumulation.
The Nature Kintsugi decor, inspired by the Japanese art of repairing ceramics with gold, introduces an element of surprise: inserts that simulate precious metallic veins, perfect for creating personalized geometries or focal areas. This detail transforms the floor into a narrative surface, where the eye can discover new details with every glance. The Impact collection does not merely cover the floor: it interprets it as a canvas on which light continually draws new perceptions.
Technical resistance matches its beauty: Impact porcelain stoneware boasts a MOHS 7 surface hardness, which makes it immune to scratches and abrasions, and almost total impermeability (water absorption < 0.5%). This makes it suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, terraces, and even vertical coverings in swimming pools. The twenty-five-year warranty on color fastness and mechanical characteristics transforms the purchase into a very long-term investment, free from extraordinary maintenance costs.
Designers appreciate Impact for its versatility: laid horizontally, it visually lengthens spaces; diagonally, it enhances their dynamism, while combining it with 30x60 or 60x120 formats allows for the creation of ever new compositional rhythms. Each installation thus becomes a unique piece, capable of reflecting the personality of those who inhabit the space. Finally, the matt surface requires minimal ordinary maintenance: a damp cloth is sufficient to restore its original beauty, without the need for waxes or specific products.
